人を傷つけ貶め て

Do you know the moment just before a person is banished to Hell for life in Jigoku Shoujo?

After going through a prelude of what the underworld is like, Jigoku Shoujo asks if the person being sent to Hell feels any bit of remorse. In some episodes the people do, but majority are not the least bit regretful despite having a look into afterlife.

All it took was one line in yesterday’s interrogation. “It’s not my fault,” that things are in a mess.

I try very hard not to bear grudges or hold on to any negativity for prolonged periods of time, but i find this unforgivable. It may not be directed at me, but i am left with no reason to respect a person who simply chooses to take the easy route out of things and find a person to take the blame.

闇に惑いし哀れ な影よ
人を傷つけ貶め て
罪に溺れし業の 魂
一遍… 死んで見る?
