A handful of Haikus

(I.)
Why do we still talk
When words, they don’t mean a thing
Like this friendship’s death

(II.)
Grew up together
Grew out of togetherness
But the truth will stay

(III.)
Once upon a time,
We were – but i am not your
best friend anymore

(IV.)
There’s a funeral
The words you give, no matter
how many laid. dead.

(V.)
Hearts, broken – promises
In every silent cry
Friends, tears, go, away.

(VI.)
Wax, dreams, candle-
Lit. If what we shared never
Burnt/ran out of time.
