Day 9 – Yoho! Yoho! Fremantle here we come ho!
Got to meet my friend who’s in Murdoch studying Vet Science for a hearty breakfast; Truly thankful that we got to catch up in Perth, missing each other in Singapore during the last meet-up sesh. Headed to Wild Poppy which is such a cosy place to be chilling at (food was pretty average… my egg was a little too salty), followed by going for a really impromptu tour around the Fremantle Prison, and then we bade each other goodbye! The definite tourist must-go, and that includes the Fremantle Markets if you’re there during the weekend!
WILD POPPY BREKKIE
PEEKABOO!!! even scarier than Nightmare on Elm Street…
IT’S PRISON BREAK
If you’re there on a Tuesday/Wednesday, be sure to say hello to David! He used to work as a guard in the prison and he volunteers twice a week to ring the bell that calls for the tourist at the start of their tour. He is extremely friendly and nice!
Hmm and after that I spent my afternoon running around Harbourtown shopping again 😛
And while I was crossing the train tracks, took a moment to enjoy the freedom you get to be legitly walking on train tracks, which can’t be done on a daily basis in Singapore. 🙂
(Day 10 to Day 12 to be continued in Part 4!!!)
